Crude Oil futures leapt this morning by over 15% in a knee-jerk reaction to the attack on the Saudi Arabia Abqaiq oil facility over the weekend that notionally, took 5% of the world’s supply offline.

Gold prices have shot higher in the open this week due to the increased tensions in the Middle East following the attack on Saudi Arabia’s oil and gas facilities in Abqaiq which has suspended half of the kingdom’s processing, corresponding to 6% of world supply.

After one more interest rate cut, the Federal Reserve will be finished cutting rates, according to Goldman Sachs. The firm gives an 80% probability of another rate cut this year to wrap up the Fed’s easing cycle.
