Gold Silver Reports (GSR) – Bharti Airtel Top Gainer On Sensex, Nifty On Surprise Q4 Profit – Shares of the country’s largest wireless telecom operator rose as much as 3.35 percent, the most in a month, to Rs 419.70 after it surprised Street with a profit in March quarter led by improvement in Africa business.
Bharti Airtel’s net profit fell 73 percent over the previous three months to Rs 83 crore in the quarter ended March, it said in an exchange filing. That compares with a net loss of Rs 25 crore that analysts polled.
