Ayodhya Verdict Has Brought a New Dawn, PM Modi in Address to Nation – Gold Silver Reports

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed the nation after the Supreme Court earlier in the day delivered the Ayodhya verdict. The Supreme Court, in a unanimous verdict earlier today, cleared the way for the construction of a Ram temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya and directed the government to allot a five-acre plot to the Sunni Waqf Board for building a mosque.

PM Modi had today inaugurated the Kartarpur corridor, flagging off the first batch of over 500 Indian pilgrims. The corridor links Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Pakistan, the final resting place of Sikhism founder Guru Nanak Dev, to Dera Baba Nanak shrine in Punjab.

-After the verdict, the way every section of society, of every religion, has welcomed it is a proof of India’s ancient culture and tradition of social harmony

-The whole country wanted that the Ayodhya case be heard daily, which happened and today a verdict has been delivered. This case which was going on for decades has concluded finally.

Uma Bharti said, “no more elections would now be contested on the Ram mandir issue”. “Now elections will be fought on real issues like roti, kapda and education,” she said.

Uma Bharti on Saturday hailed senior party leader LK Advani ‘s role in the “Ayodhya movement”.

The Supreme Court on Saturday pronounced its verdict in the Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi title suit, clearing the way for the construction of a Ram Temple at the 2.77-acres disputed site in Ayodhya and giving an alternate five-acre land to the Sunni Waqf Board at some other suitable place for construction of a mosque.

Uma Bharti also said that the dispute was “communalism vs secularism” and it was LK Advani who “exposed the pseudo-secularism drama”. She said that Advani had brought the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Ayodhya movement to “this position”

Speaking to India Today TV, Uma Bharti said, “Advani ji is my leader. I was his daughter and his lieutenant. Earlier, the agenda used to be communalism vs secularism. Advani ji exposed the pseudo-secularism drama.”

After meeting LK Advani, Uma Bharti said, “At that time, our number in Parliament was two and now we are in the ruling. The foundation stone is Advani ji. I wanted to thank him. He’s the one who brought BJP and Ayodhya movement to this position.”

“I came to thank Advani ji because he was the one who challenged pseudo-secularism and it was because of Advaniji that we could reach this point today. In the parliament, he had raised this point with facts for the first time and began a discussion on nationalism versus pseudo-secularism,” Uma Bharti told reporters after meeting Advani at his residence.

Hailing the Supreme Court verdict on the decades-old Ayodhya case, Uma Bharti said the judgment would give a new direction to the Indian politics. “I must hail the wonderful and unbiased verdict. It’s amazing how the whole country is welcoming the verdict. It will give a new direction to Indian politics,” she said.

Uma Bharti also said that she thought she would be shot dead in Ayodhya. “I thought I will be shot dead when I was on the streets of Ayodhya. But today I’m overwhelmed with feelings

She also requested people to “move ahead with the Ayodhya verdict” which was delivered on Saturday. “I cannot comment on the Muslim Personal Law Board’s statement. I want to request people to now move ahead with the verdict.

Not satisfied with Ayodhya verdict; SC supreme but not infallible: Owaisi

AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi on Saturday said the Supreme court verdict on the Babri Masjid-Ramjanmabhoomi land dispute was a “victory of belief over facts.” The Hyderabad MP, responding to the apex court verdict, also said he was not satisfied with the ruling. The supreme court is “indeed supreme but not infallible,” he said quoting a former Chief Justice of India.
