Gold prices hit one-month low amid strong US dollar; check latest prices in your city

Gold prices fell for the third day in a row, declining by ₹1,470 per 10 grams in early trade on Wednesday, November 13, due to a stronger US dollar in global markets. The American currency traded near three-month high levels ahead of the key inflation data which could give cues about possible rate cuts by the US Federal Reserve.

Gold of 24K purity declined by ₹1,470 per 10 grams while gold of 22K variety tanked ₹1,350 per 10 grams in major Indian cities, marking their third straight day of decline. In three days, gold prices have corrected by around 2,080 per 10 grams due to global trends.

In early Asian trade, the spot gold price was $2,606 an ounce, up by 0.05%. In overnight trade, the metal dropped to an over two-month low of $2,597 an ounce.

Silver Price Today in India (13 November, 2024)

Silver prices retreated by ₹2,000 per kg in major Indian cities in early trade on Wednesday due to weak demand from industrial units. Falling for the third straight day, silver dropped ₹2,000 to ₹90,900 per kg in major Indian cities.

Spot Silver traded higher by 0.81% at $30.94 an ounce in global markets. The metal hit a low of $30.64 an ounce and a high of $30.98 an ounce in overnight trade.
