Shares of Ceat Ltd. fell 7.60%, the steepest intraday decline in nearly three months to Rs 1,048.95 apiece after the company reported a net loss for the third quarter.

• The company’s revenue and Ebitda also missed analyst estimates.
• Of the 27 analysts tracking the company, 14 maintained ‘buy’, five maintained ‘hold’ and eight maintained ‘sell’ recommendations. The overall consensus price of analysts tracked by Bloomberg implied an upside of 28.2%.
• Trading volume on the stock was nearly 15 times to 30-day average volume, at this time of the day.
