Gold and silver rates today, September 05, 2024 

The 24-carat gold price in India was Rs 71,580 per 10 grams on September 05, 2024. The rate for 24-carat gold per gram is Rs 7,158. The rate of 22-carat gold was Rs 65,615 per 10 grams.

“International and domestic gold and silver rates steadied on Wednesday after retreating in previous sessions, as investors assessed new economic data and its impact on the Federal Reserve’s interest rate outlook. However, prices struggled and slipped to their lowest level in nearly two weeks as markets priced in smaller rate-cut bets for the U.S. Federal Reserve’s policy meeting this month,” said Sriram Iyer, Senior Research Analyst at Reliance Securities.

Internationally, the range for COMEX December gold is $2,500 to $2,540, while that for COMEX December silver is $27.900.

In the domestic market, the rate of 24-caratgold has risen by 0.9% in the last one week, and the yellow metal has risen by 0.76% in the last ten days. The silver currently quotes at Rs 83,250 per kilogram.
